Abstract

Evaluation is an important part of the higher education management.The assessment model formed in Chinese higher education still shows the administration-oriented nature.The limitations include the three following aspects: Single subject of evaluation cannot fully mobilize enthusiasm from the society and universities;Unification of evaluation standard affects scientific evaluation and is not suitable for diversified development of universities;Inadequate meta-evaluation activities lead to weak supervision and affect the justice of evaluation as well as the accuracy of evaluation information.
