Abstract
Using petroleum as the sole carbon source, two bacteria strains(A and B), which have high degrading capacity for crude oil, are isolated and screened out from petroleum-polluted soil in Yumen oil-field, and their degradation ability are studied. The results show that after 12 days the degradation rate of the strains A and B are 61.71% and 53.12%,respectively.GC-MS analysis indicates that in the saturate hydrocarbons,n-alkane, alkyl cyclohexane and dicycloalkane could be degraded obviously; in the aromatic hydrocarbons, naphthalene and alkyl naphthalene almost disappeared after degradation; phenanthrene and alkyl phenanthrene are degraded obviously by the strain A. The two strains are identified as bacillus.
