Abstract
A determination method of water-soluble polysaccharide content in Portulace oleracea L.was established. The contents of the polysaccharide were determined by anthrone-sulfuric acid method at 580 nm with glucose as standard. The concentration of glucose solution had good linearity ranged from 0.02 mg/mL to 0.10 mg/mL and the converting factor of polysaccharide was 4.177.The results showed that the method used in this paper was stable in 2 hours and reproducibility was good. The average recovery rate of polysaccharide was 99.43%.This method had high precision and be suitable for determining water-soluble polysaccharide content in Portulace oleracea L.
