Abstract
N-amyl acetate is synthesized from n-pentanol and acetic acid with SSA as catalyst. The optimal reaction conditions are as follows: the molar ratio of acetic acid to n-pentanol is 1∶1.4, the quality of the catalyst to total material is 1.2%, the reaction time is 60 min and cyclohexane 12 mL, the yield of n-amyl acetate is up to 95.0% when agent is 8 mL. What's more, when the catalyst was reused after 10 times, the yield was still up to 80.2%. SSA shows good catalytic activity for the synthesis of n-amyl acetate.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
