Abstract
The synthesis of i amyl acetate from i amylic alcohol and acetic acid using silica gel carrier acid as catalyst is reported. The yield can be over 93%,when the molar ratio of i amlylic alcohol and acetic acid is equal to 1∶2,the quantity of the catalyst is equal to 5.5% reactants mass, reaction temperature is 130~150℃ and reaction time is about 2 hours.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
