Abstract
:The investigation of the butterflies species in the Gansu Qilianshan National Nature Reserve(97°25′~103°38′E,36°45′~39°30′N) were carried out from 1991 to 2000.Total 3500 specimen were collected and 115 species have been identified. These species belong to 65 genera of 8 families, of which 2 species belong to Papilionidae, 9 species to Parnassidae, 25 species to Pieridae, 25 species to Satyridae, 25 species to Nymphalidae, 2 species to Riodinidae, 17 species to Lycaenidae, 10 species to Hesperidae. 32 species of these butterflies are newly recorded in Gansu province.
