The paper introduces 25 newly recorded species of butterflies in Xiaolongshan Forest of Gansu province,they belong to 23 genera of 7 families,among which there are 2 species of Papilionidae,2 species of Satyridae,1species of Pieridae,3species of Nymphalidae,8 species of Lycaenidae,7 species of Hesperiidae and 2 species of Danaidae.
