Abstract

Objective To explore the method and effectiveness of nasal endoscopic surgery combination with microwave heating-coagulation therapy of nasal inverted papilloma.MethodThe nasal inverted papillomas of nasal cavity and paranasal sinus in 20 patients, all of was the one-sided morbidity, were removed through excision under nasal endoscopy and combined with microwave heating-coagulation therapy. These patients were regularly dressing change under nasal endoscopy after operation.ResultsAll these patients were followed up for 24 months after the operation,18 cases were cured and 2 relapsed.ConclusionNasal endoscopic surgery combination with microwave heating-coagulation therapy is effective in the treatment of nasal inverted papilloma. To master surgical indications and follow-up is the key to improve the surgical cure rate.
