Abstract

Objective:To discuss the effectiveness of nasal endoscopic surgery which could treat nasal inverted papilloma.Methods:The study was performed retrospectively and included 36 nasal inverted papilloma patients who were pathological diagnosed and followed by regular management for 1~6 years after operation.Results:All patients recovered in 1~6 years from follow-up with primary cure of 31 cases(86.1%),5 cases recrudescence(13.9%),3 cases recovered by extirpating and YAG laser under nasal endoscopy,2 cases had second operation by nasal endoscope combined Caidwell-Luc surgery.None of them had malignant degeneration.Conclusion:To chose the suitable surgery according to the pathological changes,nasal endoscopic surgery is an effective way to extirpate the nasal inverted papilloma.
