Abstract

The method of plantlet regeneration from hypocotyls in vitro culture of Dichondra repens Forst. was developed. The hypocotyls could grow quickly aseptically from seed germination in darkness, then a mass of calli could be induced from hypocotyls in vitro culture on MS medium supplemented with 0.2 mg/L 2,4-D and 0.5 mg/L 6-BA, the calli were transferred to B5 medium supplemented with 2 mg/L 6-BA and 0.2 mg/L α-NAA for regenerating.
