Abstract

Objective To study the difference of efficacy of duloxetine in the treatment of somatoform disorder.Method 4 comparative studies of duloxetine and other antidepressants in the treatment of somatoform disorder were analyzed by meta-analysis.Results The significant difference in change of symptom after and before treatment by duloxetine was found,d=-3.67,95%CI(-4.80,-2.55),χ2=6.39,P0.01.Comparison between duloxetine and the controlled antidepressants at 2 weeks treatment and at the end of each trial showed that d=-0.12,95%CI(-0.80,0.56),χ2=0.35,P0.05;y合并=-0.52,95%CI(-1.55,0.52),χ2=0.98,P0.05,which revealed that there was no singnificant difference between duloxetine and controlled antipsychotics with respect to the clinical efficacy. Conclusion Duloxetine has a similar clinical effecacy with controlled antidepressants.
