Abstract
Objective To study the difference of efficacy and side effect of duloxetine in the treatment of depression.Method 9 comparative studies of duloxetine and other antidepressants in the treatment of depression were analyzed by Meta-analysis.Results The significant difference in change of symptom before and after treatment by duloxetine was found.Comparison between duloxetine and the controlled antidepressants at 2 weeks treatment and at the end of each trial showed that duloxetine had a rapid effect on symptoms,there was significant difference between duloxetine and the controlled antidepressants with respect to the clinical efficacy.Conclusion Duloxetine has a good clinical efficacy with controlled antidepressants,with rapid treatment effect.
