Abstract

Objective It is to discuss the expression and significance of CD4+CD25+ regulatory T lymphocytes in child with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP).Methods The ratio of the peripheral T lymphocyte subgroup in 27 children with ITP and 21 healthy children and the expression ratio of CD25,FasL and Fas on CD4+ T lymphocytes surface were detected with flow cytometry. Results CD3,CD4 and CD4/CD8 ratio in obviously lower than that in control group,CD4+CD25+ regulatory T lymphocytes obviously decreased,CD4+CD25-lymphocytes had no obvious changes,CD4+FasL+ lymphocytes was increased and CD4+Fas+ lmyphocytes was decreased. Conclusion CD4+CD25+ regulatory T lymphocytes in ITP children were significantly decreased, destroyed autospecific immune tolerance and played an important role in the pathogenesis of ITP.
