On the Cultural Diversities and Embodiments and Their Translation in the Ancient Chinese Poetry:A Book Review on A Cultural Perspective of Ancient Chinese Poetry by Gu Zheng-yang

In recent years,scholars in the field of translation studies tend to probe into translation from the perspective of culture because they hold that they can learn more about translation by doing so.Actually,culture exists in various forms,especially for the cultures in ancient Chinese poetry.Based on his book Cultural Approaches to Traditional Chinese Poetry,Professor Gu Zheng-yang made more great efforts to classify and generalize the cultural elements in ancient Chinese poetry in his newly published book A Cultural Perspective of Ancient Chinese Poetry.In the present paper,the author makes a brief introduction to and review of it.
