On Translation of Chinese Ancient Poetry in China English

Abstract

This thesis discusses the translation of Chinese ancient poetry in China English. By borrowing the Chinese structural pattern of parataxis,the original image and style of Chinese poetry can be passively transferred in the English version,which has a novel influence upon the composition of traditional English poetry,and is also regarded as a breakthrough in the C-E translation of Chinese poetry.
