Abstract
Objective:To have some understanding of MRI diagnostic typing of brain gray matter heterotopia. Methods:MRI was performed in 18 cases of brain gray matter heterotopia, and their clinical symptoms and MRI manifestations were analyzed. Results:Brain gray matter heterotopia were classified into four types according to their locations and shapes: subependymal type,non-subependymal type, nodular type and diffuse-type.Conclusion:MRI manifestations of brain gray matter heterotopia are characteristic. To classify cerebral gray matter heterotopia according to their MRI manifestations can be helpful in establishing correct diagnosis.
