Abstract
The main problems in our country concerning agriculture, rural areas and farmers are as follows: the widening of the gap in income, consumption, regional and social aspects among urban and rural residents and the detaining of a great number of laborers in the country, which causes various social conflicts. The origin of problems concerning agriculture, rural areas and farmers is the long-term imbalanced development strategy of industrialization and urbanization resulting in the rigid structure of dual poles —— the city and the country. Accordingly, we should put the solution of problems concerning agriculture, rural areas and farmers in the bigger context of the operation of the whole national economy.
