Abstract

Low-temperature carrier TF-258 was used in polyester dyeing with disperse dyes,impacts of TF-258 on dye uptake,shade,dry and wet rubbing fastness,soaping fastness of the dyeings under different conditions,as well as on migration behaviors of disperse dyestuffs at high temperature were discussed.Compared with the traditional carries,such as methyl salicylate,swelling agent P,diethylene glycol dibenzoate,it was found that polyester dyeing assisted with TF-258 featured lower color change and better color fastness.
