Clinical Effect of Temperature Compensated Liver and Kidney by Acupuncture & Moxibustion on Rheumaloid Arthritis of Middle-aged People

[Objective]To observe the cilinical therapeutic effect of Temperature Compensated liver and kidney by acupuncture moxibustion in treatmentof rheumaloid arthritis.[Methods]113 cases of insufficient liver and kidney and kidney - yang deficiency were randomly divided into treatment group (58 cases) and control group(55 cases).The former was given warm acupuncturemoxibustion therapy and the latter was given basice drug.[Results]The total effective rate in rheumatoid arthritis were 89.7% in treatment group and 67.3% in control group respectively ( P 0.05 ) ;The total effective rate in TCM syndrome were 94.8% in treatment group and 67.3% in control group respectively( P 0.05) ;The main symptoms such as tender joint count,morning stiffness duration,joint VAS scores,the laboratory of ESR、CRP,the score of TCM symptoms about cold Joints,cold limbs,waist and knee limp,were better improved,compared with control group(P 0.05 ).[Conclusion]The cilinical therapeutic effect of Temperature Compensated liver and kidney by acupuncturemoxibustion in treatment of rheumaloid arthritisis better than of sole administration of Chinese patent drug.
