Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of intravenous moxifloxacin in the short-term treatment of lower respiratory tract infection with acute exacerbation chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods 60 patients with AECOPD were randomly into test group and control group,30 cases of each.Patients were treated with moxifloxacin for 5 days in the test group.Levofloxacin was given for 10 days in the control group,observed the clinical effect of the two groups.Results The effective rate and bacterial eradication rates were higher than the control group,there were statistically significant differences between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Moxifloxacin is effective and safe in the treatment of AECOPD.
