Clinical effective observation of 80 cases on miconazole nitratecapsule 400 mg in 3-days treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis

Objective:To observe the safety and efficacy of 400 mg miconazole nitrate capsule in the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis.Methods: Randomized study was designed.The 80 subjects were recognized the infections of the vulvovaginal candidiasis by the gynecologic examination and the examination of vaginal discharge.The subjects received the capsule of 400 mg for 3 days.The culture of the vaginal discharge were performed a week and 4 weeks after treatment.Results:The effective rate on clinical symptoms at the 7～10 days and 28 days were 97.5% and 95%;for microoganism 99% and 90%.Conclusion:Miconazde nitrate capsule 400 mg is effective in the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis,there is no serious side effect,and incrcase the compliance of treatment.
