Abstract

Based on the analysis of 721 academic papers published in the three international journal of teacher education,Journal of Teacher Education,Action in Teacher Education,Teaching and Teacher Education,during 2006-2009,the paradigms,current issues and trends of international research of teacher education are explored,which will contribute to the construction of the dialogue platform between teacher education research in China and research in global,and finally will enhance the establishment of teacher education as a subject in China,and provide the motivation to the institutional reconstruction and practice innovation of teacher education.
