Analysis of effect of knee osteoarthritis treated by osteophyte cleaning under arthroscopy

Abstract
Objective: To observe the effect of knee osteoarthritis treated by osteophyte cleaning under arthroscopy. Methods: 42 patients in our hospital with knee osteoarthritis were chosen and treated by osteophyte cleaning under arthroscopy from April 2010 to April 2013. Joint pains and the function changes of 42 patients were evaluated by statistical analysis method to investigate the clinical effect of knee osteoarthritis treated by osteophyte cleaning under arthroscopy. Results: The evaluation of the joint pains was significantly lowered and the evaluation of function changes was evidently increased after the treatment by osteophyte cleaning under arthroscopy. The differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Knee osteoarthritis treated by osteophyte cleaning under arthroscopy had advantages of small trauma and precise clinical curative effect. More clinical statistics should be added and analyzed in order to complete the therapeutic regime and efficacy.
