Abstract

Objective To explore the change and clinical significance of the levels of serum interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI).Methods Eighty-five patients with ACI of ACI group were divided into the mild group(n=31),moderate group(n=29) and severe group(n=25);at the same time, forty healthy people were chose as control group. The levels of serum IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α were detected with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Results The levels of serum IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α in ACI group were significantly higher than those in control group(P0.05).The levels of serum IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α in severe group were significantly higher than those in mild group and moderate group(P0.05).The levels of serum IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α in moderate group were significantly higher than those in mild group(P0.05).Conclusion Serum IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α levels increasing may be related with the occurrence and development of ACI.The detection of serum IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α should be helpful to assess the severity and prognosis of patients with ACI.
