The Illuminated Field by the Pragmatic Aesthetics——Maozedong and Folk Literature

Maozedong always attaches importance to folk literature, and he integrates it with China's revolution and construction. During the Great Revolution, he collects folk songs and uses it as means of publicity; When in Yanan, he establishes the revolutionary theory about folk literature and promotes the work of it; After liberation, he initiates the New Folk Song Movement for developing Chinese poem.
