Abstract
Through the understanding of concept in modern and contemporary Chinese literature history put by Chen Si-he, outliningthe routine of the Chinese literature development in the 20~(th) century, the article examines its significance again, at the same time, it points that the trend of contemporary Chinese literature at the new stage is among the people step by step, and it also puts forward the literature vitalityvalue of folk significance.
