Abstract
Objective To understand the sub-health status of the college students in Nanjing City,and to provide the basis for scientific treatment.Methods With stratified random sampling,285 students from Nanjing University,Nanjing Forestry University,Nanjing Normal University and Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine were selected for the survey.Frequency analysis and Chi-square test were used to analyze data.Results The rate of sub-health of the college students was 56.60%.It was of statistically significance among different gender,grades,majors and colleges.The incidence rate among girls(64.23%) was higher that of boys,but girls tended to had a milder symptom than boys.The sophomore students had a higher chance(64.10%) than students from other grades.However,the status of the senior students was the best among the sub-health group of the college students.The medical students had a lower rate(35.44%) than the students in other majors,and the status of the medical students were the best among the sub-health group.Psychological problem was the dominant factor contributing to sub-health,and 76.00% looked for tranquility and 72.67% felt frustrated and couldn't handle it.Conclusion The health status of the college students are not optimistic,especially in the psychological status.It needs more and more social care.
