Abstract

Objective To understand the mental health status of the vocational college female students. Methods SCL-90 questionnaire was used to survey 484 female college students. Results The overall averaged mental health status of the vocational college female students is significant higher than that of female college students of Guangxi province and the domestic college female students norm(P0.001).Poverty female college students,higher grade female students and sibling child had a worse mental health status than non-poverty female college students,lower grade female college students and only child did,respectively(p0.05).There was no significant difference(p0.05) in metal health status between urban and rural female students. Conclusion Mental health status of vocational college female students was less optimistic and attention should be enhanced on the medical health status of poverty female college students,higher grade female students and sibling child.
