Abstract
Objective To study college students' constitution and physical health in Zhejiang province,and to provide the basis on making associated decisions of improving the health of college students.Methods By using the method of cluster sampling,1 573 college students' physical health from 19 to 22 year-old based on the National Student Physical Health Implementation Plan.Results The proportion of overweight and obesity was 9.0% among urban students,higher than the rural students.In the meanwhile,the male students' proportion was significantly higher than girls;Students average visual acuity was 4.40±0.35,severe visual impairment accounted for 63.2%,college students with normal vision were only 5.8%;The excellent rate of six fitness tests was low,the difference between urban and rural or men and women was statistically significant.Conclusion Students' high rates of overweight and obesity,the problem of lower physical quality and severe visual adverse conditions should be concerned.The healthy life styles should be advocated to promote health actively.
