Abstract
In order to investigate drug sensitivity of pathogenic Escherichia coli from animal clinics,75 pathogenic Escherichia coli isolates were obtained from 117 samples from 15 districts of Anhui Province.The bacteria liquid was prepared in the concentration of 5×107CFU.mL-1 after isolation,purification and proliferation,to analyze its sensitive to 13 drugs by K-B method.The inhibition zones were determined after overnight cultivation.The results showed that the rates of drug resistant strains were above 70% to ampicillin,amoxicillin and polymyxin B,above 30% to enrofloxacin,florfenicol,ofloxacin,ceftriaxone and cefotaxime,and sensitive to amikacin and ceftizoxime.The investigation demonstrated that it is necessary for rational use of antimicrobial agents for the control of colibacillosis in pigs and chickens.
