Abstract

This paper briefly introduces the construction and development of Fujian earthquake monitoring network.Based on original earthquake magnitude calculation methods, the paper analyzes the magnitude biases of the 29 stations in the nine-five network and its influence on the final network’s magnitude result.Based on this, the paprer calibrates the single station’s magnitude result. Then the paper regresses the relationship between single station’s magnitude result and final network’s magnitude result for inner and outer cases respectively, and records the time needed for the single station’s magnitude calculation. The result showed that using the magnitude calculation method presented in this paper,it cost about 10 minutes to estimate the magnitude for earthquakes in the network..
