Abstract
Objective To study the clinical response and toxic - side reactions of 39 patients with advanced gastrointestinal carcinoma treated with continuous infusion of fluorouracil CF,DDP,10 - HCPT.Methods A scheme of HLFP was used to treat 39 patients with gastric cancer or colorectal cancer.Regimen: 10- HCPT 6 mg/(m2·d) iv for 5 days,5 - Fu 500 mg/(m2·d) iv for 5 days by continuous infusion,DDP 30 mg/(m2·d) iv for 3 days. The scheme was repeated every 21 days. Results Of 25 cases of gastric cancer,1 achieved CR and 10 PR;the response rate was 40.0% ;of 14 colorectal cancer,5 achieved PR with response rate of 37.5% .The main toxic side effects included GI reaction, myelosuppression and alopecia. Conclusions HLFP combined chemotherapy has a better response in the treatment of gastrointestinal carcinoma. The side effects are mild. It can be used widely in clinical work.
