Abstract

Objectives:To study the effects of compound tea polyphenols on decrease blood lipids. Methods:120 male SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups:a normal group,a high serum lipid model group,a treated group. The normal group were feed normal diet with normal saline,the high serum lipid model group were feed high fat diet with saline,the treated group were feed high fat diet with compound tea polyphenols treated. The experiment takes about 8 weeks,every 2 weeks,10 rats of each group were radomly killed. Serum TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C were determined. Results:The treated group serum TC,TG,LDL-C concentration significantly lower than high serum lipid model group(P 0.05) ,while the serum HDLC concentration significantly higher than high serum lipid model group(P0.05) .Result:The compound tea polyphenols can decrease the blood lipid level.
