Abstract

【Objective】To find the correlations between the clinical presentation and histological changes in refractory nephrotic syndrome of children.【Methods】Thirty-four children with refractory nephrotic syndrome were examined by renal biopsy. The correlation between the clinical features and the histopathological results or the curative effect were analyzed.【Results】Based on clinical and pathological classification,6 patients((17.6)%) were simple type and 28 patients((71.6)%) were nephritic type.Renal pathology revealed that 16 patients(47.1%) with MsPGN,7(20.6%) with MCNS and 5(14.7%) with FSGS.The complete remission rate was 44.1%,and the partial remission was 35.3% and no remission was 20.6%,the total efficacy rate was 79.5%.【Conclusion】MsPGN MPGN and FSGS are most of the histological changes of RNS in children. The cured rates vary with their pathological changes.
