Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between HBV large envelop protein(HBV-LP) and HBV DNA/patterns of HBV markers and the significances of HBV-LP in clinical diagnosis and treatment of HBV patients, the HBV-LP,preS1 and HBV DNA in HBV patients with different patterns of HBV markers(HBV M,HBsAg/HBsAb、HBeAg/HBeAb、HBcAb) were tested. Methods The HBV-LP,preS1 and patterns of HBV M were tested by ELISA,and HBV DNA was measured by fluorescence quantitative PCR.Results No significant difference was found between HBV-LP and HBV DNA level(χ2=1.97,P0.05).There was a positive correlation with the value A of HBV-LP and the HBV DNA level(r=0.565,P0.01),and there was a significant difference of value A of HBV-LP in different copies of HBV DNA(F=9.23,P0.01).Conclusion The HBV-LP was a good sero-immunological marker to reflect the level of virus replication in HBV patients. The HBV-LP in serum has a good positive correlation with HBV DNA,and especially served as a good serum target in monitoring the virus replication and prognosis.
