Abstract
In order to discuss the actual effect of muscle strength training in extracurricular swimming training,a muscle strength training program is designed based on training theories and practice.The training circle is divided into renewed training,general training,special training,pre-game training and game training according to the length of each phase,which features different training tasks and focuses.The results show that after special muscle strength training,strength is improved dramatically,with both the upper limbs stroke strength and the lower limbs tramp strength improved;with the same frequency of stroke,the main achievement of upper limbs and lower limbs are improved;and the athletes under training achieve great success in games.
