Clinical Study on Mifepristone in the Treatment of Uterine Fibroids

Abstract

Objective To analyze clinical effect of Mifepristone in the treatment of uterine fibroids. Methods 40 patients with uterine fibroids from November 2013 to November 2014 in our hospital were selected into control group and experimental group according to different treatment methods, 20 patients in each group, received conventional treatment and Mifepristone treatment. The treatment effects between two groups were observed and compared. Results the change of hormone indicator, decrease of tumor volume and treatment effective rate in experimental group were better than control group significantly(P 0.05). Conclusion Mifepristone is quite effective in the treatment of uterine fibroids.
