Clinical observation of Mifepristone in treatment of 35 cases with uterine fibroids

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of Mifepristone in treatment of uterine fibroids.Methods: 35 patients were treated with Mifepristone 12.5 mg/d,orally,3 months for a course of treatment,the efficacy was observed after 3 courses of treatment.Results: After 3 courses of the total effective rate was 88.57%;volume of uterus and fibroids,hemoglobin content,menstrual period,menstrual flow were compared,there were statistically significant differences before and after treatment(P0.05),with fewer adverse reaction.Conclusion: The efficacy of Mifepristone in treatment of uterine fibroids is good.
