Controlled Clinical Observation on Treating Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy with Self-made Tiaotang Tongluo Decoction

[Objective]To observe the clinical effect of treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy with self-made Tiaotang Tongluo decoction.[Methods]60 patients were divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.The treatment group takes orally Self-made Tiaotang Tongluo Decoction(medicinal Astragalus,puerarin,radix trichosanthis,hyssop,suberect spatholobus stem etc.) 1 agent /d;The control group was treated with Mecobalamin tablets,500ug/time,3 times/d.Two groups were treated for 8 weeks of therapeutic efficacy.[Results] Fasting blood glucose values in treatment group decreased(P0.01),the treatment group than in control group(P0.05).The total effective rate of treatment group 83.33%,control group in the total efficiency of 50.00%,the treatment group were better than the control group(P0.01).[Conclusion] Treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy with self-made Tiaotang Tongluo decoction has a good effect.
