Abstract
Objective:To establish a method for determination of the contents of emodin and chrysophanol in Yinhu Qinggan Granules.Methods:HPLC medthod was selected to determine the contents of emodin and chrysophanol.The chromatographic conditions included lnertsil ODS-3 C_(18)column,methanol-(0.1%)phosphoric acid solution(90∶10)as the mobile phase,wavelength of detector at 254 nm,flow rate 1.0 ml/min and column temperature at room temperature.Results:The calibration curves were linear over the range of 69.76~348.80 ng(r=0.999 6)for emodin and 12.08~60.40 ng(r=0.999 9) for chrysophanol;and the average recoveries were 98.97%(RSD=1.16%)and 99.72%(RSD=2.06%).Conclusion:This method is simple,accurate and reliable,which could be used for determination of the contents of emodin and chrysophanol in Yinhu Qinggan granules.
