Alar cartilage sutures and septal cartilage graft to correct women large and low nasal tip

Objective To seek a method of correcting women large and low nasal tip by autogenous septal cartilage grafting and alar cartilage sutures.Methods The rhinoplasty was performed under open approach in columella nasi with nasal tip raised by autologous septal cartilage grafting,nasal tip reduced by alar cartilage sutues.Results After 3～24 months follow-up,all 22 patients received satisfactory results with esthetic and natural appearance.Conclusion Autogenous septal cartilage grafting and alar cartilage sutures is an effective surgical method to correct women large and low nasal tip.
