Application of autogenous conchal and nasal septal cartilage in nasal tip plasty

Objective To discuss cosmetology effects of the autogenous conchal cartilage of ear or nasal septal cartilage to the beauty pursuers who with bulbous nasal tip and flat apex nose as well as repairing effect of patients with nasal tip complications after rhinoplasty.Methods Doing nasal tip plasty applying autogenous conchal cartilage of ear or nasal septal cartilage to the beauty pursuers who with bulbous nasal tip and flat apex nose as well as individual with high skin tension on the nasal tip,malformed nasal tip,prosthesis appearance and nasal tip rubefaction,atrophy,thinning even perforation.Results Applying autologous conchal cartilage or nasal septal cartilage to do nasal tip plasty which has met the demand of beauty pursuers meanwhile controlled complications,nasal tip angle improved significantly,effect satisfied from September 2005 to January 2010.Conclusion It can effectively improves the nasal tip aesthetic defects and prevents complications after Rhinoplasty that Applying autologous conchal cartilage or nasal septal cartilage to do nasal tip plasty.
