Observationof therapeutic effect of Qiling decoction on type 2 diabetes with deficiency of qi and yin

Objective To investigate the mechanism of supplementing qi and nourishing yin on the treatment of type 2 diabetes,through observation of therapeutic effect of Qiling decoction on type 2 diabetes with deficiency of qi and yin.Methods 60 patients with deficiency of qi and yin were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in treatment group(n=30)were treated by Qiling decoction.30 cases in control group were treated by Melbine.After 8 weeks of treatment,the clinical effect,syndrome improvement,IR improvement,FPG,2h PG,HbA1c,FINS and ISI were observed.Results There was significant difference between two groups on the total effective rate(P0.05).The improvement rate and syndrome improvement in treatment group were superior to those in control group(P0.05,P0.01).There was no difference between two groups on IR improvement(P0.05).FPG,2 hPG and HbAlc in treatment group were decreased in comparison with those in control group(P0.05)after treatment.Conclusion Qiling decoction can improve clinical syndrome of type 2 diabetes with deficiency of qi and yin,the effect was more than Melbine,can obviously decrease blood glucose.
