Clinical Observation of Type-II Diabetes Treated by"Qi-Yin Supplementing Formula

To observe the clinical effects ofQi Yin Supplementing Formulain the treatment of type Ⅱ diabetes of qi yin deficiency,70 subjects were randomly classified into two groups:treatment group with 35 cases treated byQi Yin Supplementing Formulaand control group with 35 cases treated by Keleting.Results:as to the clinical symptoms,the treatment group got marked effects in 16 cases,effectiveness in 17 cases and failure in 2 cases;the control group got marked effect in 3 cases,effectiveness in 25 cases and failure in 7 cases,with a striking difference between the two groups.As to the score differences between pre treatment and post treatment,the treatment group scored 10 63±3 84 and the control group scored 6 6±2 32,P0 001;the differences of FPG and 2hPG before and after treatment were 1 7±2 0 and 3 3±2 1 mmol/L in treatment group,and 1 0±0 8 and 2 0±1 3 mmol/L in control group,with significant differences between the two groups(P0 05,P0 005).
