Abstract

Objective: To explore the influence of systematic nursing intervention on pains after operations of general surgery. Methods: 160 patients having undergone operations on gastrointestinal tract and breasts were divided into two groups at random: the intervention group and the control group.the patients in the control group got conventional treatment in pain relief and nursing while those in the intervention group received systematic nursing intervention. The degree of the patients' pain after the surgery was evaluated with Visual Analogue Scale(VAS).Results: The effect of pain relieving in the intervention group was better than that in the control group, the difference being statistically significant(P0.01),and there being marked positively correlation between the care interventions and the result of pain control(P0.01).Conclusion: Systematic nursing could improve the effect of pain relief treatment after surgery.
