Promoting Professional Teaching Through Qualification Certificates of Vocational Training and Highlighting the Features of Higher Vocational Education——A Case Study of Higher Vocational School of Sanjiang University

The cultivation objective of the vocational education is to train up practical high-level specialized talents to meet the challenges from the sectors of production, construction, management and service in industries. The characters of the higher vocational education are: (1) specialized and skillful technique(professional qualification as its symbol and passport); (2) technical skills indispensable at work and in need of support of theories. At a vocational school, cultivating students' practical ability must be given priority and efforts should be made at promoting professional teaching with qualification certificate of vocational training and developing on-and off-campus practical training stations. Only through' theory-practice-internship' integration, can skill-oriented application talents be harvested and the peculiar qualities of vocational education be manifested.
