On the Origin of the Notion of Happy Livelihood of the People of the Communist Party of China

Abstract

The objective of the Communist Party of China( CPC) is the pursuit for happiness of the people. The reason why the CPC has been adhering to this goal at different stages of its history is that this notion has been an inherent one ever since its birth in 1921. While the pursuit for happiness of the people is a necessary idea of the classic Marxist literature,it is also an idea inherent in the long Chinese tradition and upheld by the modern Chinese revolutionaries. The CPC,as a Marxist party deeply rooted in the Chinese culture,therefore necessarily assumes this historical responsibility.
