The Value of Color Doppler Ultrasonography in Diagnosing Complication of Orthotopic Liver Transplantation

Objective To evaluate the value of color Doppler ultrasound in diagnos is of complication of orthotopic liver transplantation. Metheds The results of ultrasounic dignosis of 110 cases with orthotopic liver transplantation. were analysed. Result Three cases hepatic artery thrombosis,6 cases potal vein thrombosis, 7 cases IVC thrombosis and 1 case stenosis of hepatic vein were correctly diagnosed by color Doppler ultrasound; 8 cases bile duct stricture,79 cases hydrotrorax ,78 cases ascites and 31 cases fluid collection in periliver area were found; 1 case of false diagnosis of hepatic artery thrombosis occurred. Conclution Color Doppler ultrasound is important and valuble for diagnosing complication of liver transplantation; the false positive diagnosis of hepatic artery thrombosis, the relationship between those complication and basic disease requires further study.
