Color Doppler ultrasonography in diagnosis of complications after orthotopic liver transplantation

Objective To assess the value of color Doppler ultrasonography in the diagnosis of complications after liver transplantation.Methods The results of ultrasonic diagnosis of complications in 95 patients with liver transplantation were analyzed.Results Among the 95 cases,hepatic artery thrombosis occurred in 3 cases,hepatic artery stenosis in 2 cases,portal vein thrombosis occurred in 1 case,portal vein stenosis in 1 case,inferior vena cava stenosis in 2 cases,biliary complications in 10 cases,rejection in 7 cases,pleural and abdominal effusion in 93 cases,hematomas near the liver in 7 cases,recurrence of carcinoma in 5 cases.Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound is of practical importance in the diagnosis of complications after liver transplantation.
