Review on Indicator System of Environmental Impact Assessment for Urban Planning

Urban planning is an important tool for realization of sustainable development.The content of environmental impact assessment(EIA) of urban planning should be reflected by indicator system.In this paper,the indicators belonged to general planning and subordinated planning(professional planning and detailed planning) respectively.Furthermore the main contents and structures of EIA indicator system for general urban planning and professional planning were discussed.It pointed out existing problems in the respects of establishment,content,implementation and coordination between general planning and subordinated planning.The future research direction of indicator system of EIA for urban planning was pointed out.
